I traveled from Tennessee to Oslo and Stavanger in 2010 to see family and friends for a 2 weeks vacation. I had a blast! I saw both my parents and aunts, uncles; I saw my little brother play the guitar and sing at a night club in Oslo~ along with many great friends. I attended my grandma’s 92 birthday in Oslo and my youngest nephew’s birthday in Forus, Stavanger. While on the west coast we played soccer, fished for blue crabs using mussels and hiked to a gorgeous mountain top, alongside lakes, in enchanted forests, over green pastures with sheep and goats. The whole trip consisted of great weather, a genuine heartwarming experience with wonderful views and scenic trails. I just love Europe and my homeland of Norway and hope to win a trip to see it and my only living grandmother once more. A stop in Iceland has always been a dream of mine, but until now that has not been manifested. Maybe next time?
