I started visiting Scandinavia ten years ago when my son moved to Stockholm. I live in the U.S. (Florida), a nice warm climate so I naturally prefer to visit Sweden in the summer.
I have been there eight times and love it, Stockholm is gorgeous during the summer!
I have also visited Norway and seen the fabulous Frogner Park, which is famous for housing the Vigeland Sculpture Park. I have been to the Fjords and stood in awe at their great beauty.
I have walked around the amazing fish market in Bergen. I love to visit the island of Gotland, Sweden. And, most of all, I love boppin’ around Stockholm, Sweden.
It has become like a second home to me. I have made many friends there and it is such a lovely country. If I could adopt it, I would. In fact, my son now is getting his citizenship. Ever since he fell in love with a beautiful, warm Swedish girl, I can’t get him to come home. We are both smitten with the country!
